✦ Synopsis

amidino)-sulfid, eine isomere Verbindung von 4, sol1 nach Ried [3] bei der Pyrolyse von Quecksilber-bis-(1-phenyl-3,3dimethylisothioharnstoff) und nach Ley u. Eholzer [ 4 ] bei der sauren Hydrolyse des l-Phenyl-2-dimethylamino-3,3-dimethylisothioharnstoffs entstehen. Da die von Ried angegebenen physikalischen Daten der Verbindung mit den von uns gefundenen und den von Srivastava beschriebenen ubereinstimmen, ist die dort angegebene Struktur [3], [4] nach 4 zu korrigieren.

**A Ready and General Access to 2‐Fluoro‐1,3‐dienes** Upon treatment of 1‐chloro‐1‐fluoro‐2‐halomethylcyclopropanes with zinc, fluorodienes are formed in high yield. The general applicability of this method is illustrated by examples using model compounds of the acyclic and cyclic type.
