Although the 1996 operative result has improved substantially, both the KSB Group and KSB A k t i e n g e s e l l s c h a f t will close the year with a high, twodigit loss on account of the r e s t r u c t u r i n g costs i n c u r r e d . However, the positive results from its Asian and American companies should contribute to a marked reduction in the 1996 loss of the KSB Group compared with last year's figure.
