## Abstract Tricyclic keto‐indoles were synthesized by photocyclization of easily obtained enaminones in an electro‐cyclic photochemical reaction. The three methods reported were chosen according to the enaminone structure. The most general procedure using one‐step synthesis was carried out in a be
