โœฆ Synopsis

In this paper, an improved DRP method to schedule multi-ectm/on distribution network is proposed such that order-quantities and order points are dynamically obrRined to meet ~ a~mana in just in time concept and minimiTe the Otlt-of-stoc~ probability.

The order scheduling method reflects the d)mamic characteristics of inventory level changes in the regional distribution centers and the central distribution center. The experiment has been done with various ยข~-~-~ distributions, forecast error distributions and lead times. The proposed medxxl was co~[sared with the tradit/onal DRP-based scheduling methods which use different lot-siT.i~ and order point decision techniques.

From the result, it is found that the proposed heuristic method yields preferable lot--sizing schedules,

In this paper we present a framework for the planning and control of the materials flow in a multi-item production system. Our prime objective is to meet a prespecitied customer service level at minimum overall costs. In order to motivate our study we first outline the basic architecture of a logist

This paper considers a two-echelon inventory system with return flows, where demand and return rates are mutually independent. An open queueing network with finite buffers is used to model this system. The model is analysed using the expansion methodology.
