## Abstract **Summary:** Multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) have been successfully modified with polyacrylonitrile (PAN) by a cathodic electrochemical process. The surface‐modified MWNTs afforded are then dispersible in good solvents for PAN, such as __N__,__N__‐dimethylformamide (DMF). Collecte
