## Abstract A mild and highly efficient synthesis of chiral tetrahydroquinolino pyranose derivatives is described. The reaction of a chiral Ξ±,β‐unsaturated aldehyde containing a hydroxyl group with different aryl amines using lanthanum(III) nitrate hexahydrate as a catalyst afforded corresponding c
