## Abstract ZnO films consisting of either polydisperse or monodisperse aggregates of nanocrystallites were fabricated and studied as dye‐sensitized solar‐cell electrodes. The results revealed that the overall energy‐conversion efficiency of the cells could be significantly affected by either the a
