Two organic additives were selected for their different physico-chemical parameters to study the behaviour of a diesel-ethanol mixture. These compounds had a glycerol skeleton bearing heteroatoms and amino-ether, hydroxyl, nitrate and nitramine functional groups. Properties directly related to engin
