✦ Synopsis

The effects of irradiation, synchrotron radiation (8k-30keV), of high-T C superconductor YBa2Cu20~, have been studied by X-ray diffraction measurement. Changes of the X-ray diffraction patterfi (qith the irradiation show the appearance of a stacking fault perpendic%llar to the c axis. Unknown peaks appear in the diffraction pattern. According to X-ray analysis, these peaks were found that Ba(NO3) 2 was formed with the irradiation.
