✦ Synopsis

Effects of sulfur in gasoline on exhaust emissions were studied on vehicles equipped with several types of lean NO x catalysts. A lean NO x catalyst used in a newly launched vehicle was found to be regenerative during running. A catalyst of another vehicle using Na for NO x adsorption was confirmed to have higher sulfur proof performance.
