Abstract

Copolymerization of styrene and β‐bromostyrene, by constant potential electrolysis, in 1,2‐dichloroethane was achieved at various applied potentials. Effect of polymerization potential on the copolymer composition and the reactivity ratios was studied. Monomer reactivity ratios were determined by integrated Lewis–Mayo equation.
