✦ Synopsis

~ffects of oxygen deficiency on the superconductivity in Nd 2 _ Ce CU04_~have been systematically Investigated. The value of T strongly depends on x and &. Ove~-reduction is found to decrease T e because of randomness and/8r over-doping of carriers. Effects of partial substitution of Ni. Zn and Ga for Cu have been also studied. The Ni substitution markedly decreases T , while the Ga substitution does not. This is discussed relating to the antiferromagnetic phase fransition in samples with smaller x.
