## Abstract Primary afferent fibers are divided into three main subgroups: Aβ‐, Aδ‐, and C‐fibers. Morphological studies have demonstrated that neonatal capsaicin treatment (NCT) depletes C‐fiber inputs in the spinal dorsal horn; the electrophysiological features of the NCT‐induced changes, however
