## Abstract Diffusion ordered spectroscopy (DOSY) was applied to examine the chemical and physical properties of soil organic matter, a complex natural mixture. Soil organic matter extracts are often termed humic substances (HS), which traditionally have been thought to be high molecular weight, cr
