Poly(esterurethane) elastomers were synthesized by a pre-polymer process. The pre-polymer based on poly(caprolactone) (capa-225) and toluenediisocyanate (TDI) was mixed with 1,4-butane diol (BDO) or dihydroquinone (HQ) in capa-225 (known as the quasi pre-polymer process) and then reacted in a mould.

Peel strength values of sodium-etched poly(tetrafluoroethy1ene) film bonded to polyurethane substrates have been monitored and found to decrease as a function of exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Attenuated total reflectance (ATR) spectra were monitored on unbonded sodium-etched poly(tetrafluoroeth
