Abstract
Rapidly solidified ribbons of Nd~9~Fe~73~B~12.6~C~1.4~Ti~3~Nb~1~ were annealed with or without a static magnetic field of 10 T. The remanence (B~r~) of the ribbon annealed with the magnetic field was higher than that of the ribbon annealed without the magnetic field. Improved magnetic properties of the ribbon annealed with the magnetic field may be attributed to a uniformly fine grain size. (Β© 2008 WILEYβVCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
