## Abstract This article reports data on the preventive effect of (−)epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) on lipid metabolism and lipoproteins in isoproterenol (ISO)‐induced myocardial infarction (MI) in Wistar rats. The rats were induced MI by ISO (100 mg/kg) at an interval of 24 h for 2 days. EGCG (30
