✦ Synopsis
Abstract
(K~0.47~Na~0.53~)~1−x~Li~x~Nb~0.94~Sb~0.06~O~3~ (KNNS‐__x__Li, x = 0–0.08) lead‐free piezoelectric ceramics have been prepared by conventional solid‐state sintering process. The electrical properties of the ceramics were investigated. The coexistence of orthorhombic and tetragonal perovskite phases at room temperature results in enhancement of piezoelectric properties for the ceramics with 0.04≤x≤0.06. The ceramics with x = 0.06 possess optimum piezoelectric properties: d~33~∼255 pC/N, k~p~∼44.3%, and T~c~∼350 °C. These results show that the (K~0.47~Na~0.53~)~1−x~Li~x~Nb~0.94~Sb~0.06~O~3~ ceramic can be a potential candidate for lead‐free piezoelectric materials.
