In this work the effect of ionic strength on the adsorption behavior of cationic polyelectrolyte (acrylamide-acrylamidopropyltrimethylammonium chloride) and negatively charged silica particles has been studied by means of ellipsometry. The adsorption of the polyelectrolyte was observed to increase w
