Abstract
The influences of nanoโparticles (nanoโsized CaCO~3~ and nanoโsized SiO~2~) on plasticizers volatility, solvent extraction stability, and exudation stability of flexible PVC were studied. The results showed that nanoโparticles could reduce migration of plasticizers, thus improved the ability of antiโmigration of flexible PVC. Further more, nanoโsized SiO~2~ shows excellent property than nanoโsized CaCO~3~ in resistance migration of plasticizers. ยฉ 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci, 2010

A method has been developed to quantitatively measure the surface plasticizer levels present on test plaques made from a plasticized PVC compound. The plaque fabrication conditions have been chosen so that the plaque closely models an extruded flexible PVC profile. The analysis method utilizes sorpt
