We studied the effects of inhibitors of ornithine decarboxylase (ODC), arginine decarboxylase (ADC) and spermidine synthase (Spd synthase) on organogenesis and the titers of polyamines (PA) and alkaloids in tobacco calli. DL-alpha-diffluromethylarginine (DFMA) and D-arginine (D-Arg), both inhibitors
