## Abstract The uptake of 2‐deoxy‐D‐glucose by hamster embryo cells was stimulated by preincubation with 1 mM dibutyryl cyclic adenosine 3′:5′ monophosphate (dibutyryl cAMP) and theophylline for 24 h. The increase in uptake depended on the concentration of dibutyryl cAMP and was accelerated by a co
