Much evidence has been suggested that cystic, adenomatous, and atypical hyperplasia as well as adenocarcinoma in situ of the endometrium may ultimately progress to invasive cancer. Consequently, these lesions should be considered to be precursors of endometrial cancer. Twelve postmenopausal and thre
