The role of metboxide species in selective formation of isobutene from CO and H, over ZrO, was investigated by means of 13C tracer method. Analysis of 13C-13C coupling in the formed isobutene showed that "CO hydrogenation over ZrO, pretreated with 13C0 and H, formed '2CH,='3C('2CH3)2, while j3C0 hyd
