Structure-activity relationships were determined for cocaine congeners in counteracting the depolarization induced by the action of veratridine on voltage-dependent sodium channels of synaptoneurosomes from mouse brain cortex, and their potency was compared to those determined previously on Na+ upta
We have determined the temperature dependence of the kinetics of entry into the first S phase of phytohemagglutinin-stimulated lymphocytes under conditions varying the stability of substrata over which the cells have settled. An exponential model was used to characterize entry into S phase. This mod
## Abstract Mouse spleen cells incubated at either 30 mm Hg dissolved oxygen partial pressure (pO~2~) or 160 mm Hg did not differ significantly in their survival or in their proliferative response to the mitogens concanavalin A, phytohemagglutinin or bacterial endotoxin in a subsequent static cultu
We tested the effect of TGF-PI on the EBV-induced activation and immortalization of human B lymphocytes. In Iymphocyte cultures of EBV-seropositive individuals, T cells can inhibit the EBV-induced transformation of B cells. We found that in the presence of TGF-f3 I the transformation was more effici
