Over 13000 CIAT bean accessions were evaluated for their reactions to the anthracnose (Colletotrichum lindemuthianum) and angular leaf spot (Isariopsis griseola) pathogens over a 3 yr period. Among these accessions, 156 were resistant to all races of the anthracnose pathogen collected from Popayan,
