Two environmental parameters, feeding status and salinity, are expected to affect water and ion balance of the aquatic larvae of Aedes aegypti. Evidence was obtained for regulation of Malpighian tubule fluid secretion rates in response to changes in each of these parameters. Exposure to increased sa
