โฆ Synopsis
A new resistance model, which considers both the metal-skin effect and eddy-current losses of rectangular spiral-inductor structures, is proposed. Specifically, a correction term is added to the in-series resistance model so as to more accurately model the high-frequency behavior of metal losses. The accuracy of this analytical model is validated by comparing its simulated results with the measured ones.
