## Abstract The influence of Zn substitution in the magnetic properties of a nanoscale system Ni~1โ€“__x__~ Zn~__x__~ Fe~2~O~4~ (where __x__ = 0.0, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75) was studied. The ferrites were synthesized by the coprecipitation technique. Transmission electron microscopy revealed a particle si
