โœฆ Synopsis

ESR spectra of the iminosyl radical with the isotope 'jN have been calculated for molecular reorientation.

Two reorientation models were discussed: the rotational diffusion and rotational jump models. The spectrum shape was found to depend considerably on the rotational mode!.

An ESR line width study of vanadyl acetylacetonate (abbreviated as VO(acac),) in toluene has been carried out as a function of temperature at 9.5 GHz. It was found that VO(acac), was undergoing anisotropic reorientation with N-2.8 in 1 along a symmetry axis I' = l', where N is the ratio ofR,/R, and

Attention is drawn to the simplicity of Alexander's equations for the density matrix of a spin system of radical-ions undergoing electron exchange with neutral molecules. The potential usefulness of the equations for describing the line shapes in the ESR spt ctra of radicals undergoing simultaneous
