✦ Synopsis

The temperature dependence of both the electronic and phonon Raman spectra have been measured in two different samples of YBa2CuaOz.

An estimate for the superconducting gap has been obtained from both the electronic and phonon spectra for both crystals to investigate the influence of Th-doping on the superconducting properties of YBaaCua07.
