Luminescences and excited state lifetimes have been measured for four Ir( I) and Rh(I) complexes at 4 K as a function of magnetic field strength. Induced spectra exhibit a B2 dependence while the lifetimes are a function of Be2.

Abatraet-In order to study the mechanism of polymerization of phenylacetylene initiated by rhodium catalysts, the polymerization of phenylacetylene was carried out in the presence of various substituted benzenes. It was found that the benzenes with electron donor substituents had little effect on th
The new mixed phosphane-phosphite ligands 1 and 2, derived from 3,3ะ-di-tert-butyl-2,2ะ-dihydroxy-5,5ะ-dimethoxybiphenyl and (S)-binaphthol, respectively, reacted with [Rh(COD)(THF) 2 ]CF 3 SO 3 to give the compounds [Rh(COD)(1)]CF 3 SO 3 and [Rh(COD)(2)]CF 3 SO 3 in which the ligands 1 and (S)-2 ar
## Abstract The thermolysis reactions of 3a and 2a, b were studied over a temperature range of 40ยฐC and the activation parameters were determined. They were compared with the activation parameters of structurally comparable hydrocarbons of similar strain in order to obtain the radical stabilization
The 13C NMR spectra have been determined of: (i) aliphatic compounds having at one end a functionalized sulphur atom (-SH, -S-, -SMe, -S(O)Me, -SO,Me and -S-'Me,) and (ii) saturated sulphur heterocycles variously substituted at the S-atom (\S, \SO '\SO, and 'xS Me). The results are discussed in term
