The ductile-brittle transition temperature for bend specimens of recrystallized powder metallurgy molybdenum has been shown to be lowered from 50ยฐC to 2ยฐC by the application of a hydrostatic pressure of -20,000 psi (~1.4 kbar). The pressure medium was kerosene. The samples were obtained from 0.020
