## Abstract Increased oxidative stress and antioxidant deficit have been suggested to play a major role in isoproterenol‐induced myocardial infarction. The present study was designed to evaluate the effect of α‐mangostin on the antioxidant defense system and lipid peroxidation against isoproterenol
