## Abstract The acid modification of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) was performed by an HNO~3~/H~2~SO~4~ solution. The glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) undergoing an opening‐ring was grafted onto the surface of acid‐modified MWNTs. The surface properties of MWNTs were investigated by Fourier transfo
