✦ Synopsis
Republic of Germany
We have recently reported results of conformational studies on gastrin peptides in which the glutamic acid sequence at the N-terminus has been systematically elongated from 1 to 5 units.' Preliminary experiments have shown that some of these compounds have a strong tendency to form intermolecular aggregates in trifluorethanol solution, even a t concentration levels of the order of 1 x 10-4M(on peptide residue basis).' More detailed investigation revealed
