In this paper, the effect of water-based Al 2 O 3 nanofluids as working fluid on the thermal performance of a flat micro-heat pipe with a rectangular grooved wick is investigated. For the purpose, the axial variations of the wall temperature, the evaporation and condensation rates are considered by

β¦ Synopsis
It is shown by a NMR analysis of AI nuclei and Adiabatic Demagnetisation that in a pure crystal of AI203 (sapphire) the heat capacity due to the Quadrupolar Interaction is weakly coupled to the phonon bath at low temperatures. Therefore, it does not prevent this type of absorber from being an excellent candidate for bolometric applications.
