Proteasomal dysfunction has been implicated in neurodegenerative disorders and during aging processes. In frontotemporal dementias, corticobasal degeneration, and progressive supranuclear palsy, oligodendrocytes are specifically damaged. Application of proteasomal inhibitors to cultured oligodendroc
