✦ Synopsis


Resistivity measurements have been carried out for Y(Mn~_xCux) z compounds with values of x of 0, 0.04, 0.07, 0.10, 0.20 and 0.3(I in the temperature range from 4.2 up to 300 K at zero pressure and for YMn 2 under a pressure of 2 kbar. T N has been found to decrease rapidly by applying external pressure as well as by applying a chemical pressure caused by a partial substitution of Mn atoms by Cu atoms.
