The dielectric and magnetic properties of Mg incorporated Ni-Zn spinel ferrites have been investigated. Ni 0.5 ร x Zn 0.5 Mg x Fe 2 O 4 ferrites have been prepared by sol-gel auto-combustion technique. The as prepared ferrites were annealed at 673, 873 and 1073 K. The X-ray diffraction studies revea

โฆ Synopsis
Ceramic samples of Gd2Cu~_xNixO4 with x= 0, 0.03, 0.05, 0.07, 0.09 and 0.11, and Gd2Cut_xZnxO4 with x=0.01, 0.03 and 0.05, were prepared. Magnetic measurements showed that the antiferromagnetic ordering temperature of Cu decreased due to the substitution of Cu by Ni or Zn. The effect of Ni on suppressing antiferromagnetic ordering is larger than that of Zn. The results are compatible with the substitution effect on superconductivity in NdLssCeo.~sCuO4.
