✦ Synopsis


Abatrae-The solid state battery (SSB) has been formed in paraelectric region of potassium vanadate doped with neodymium oxide, by applying the dc electric field of about 1 kV cm-' once across the pellets. A drastic change in emf and current is observed at the phase transition temperature. The generated emf and current not only depend on temperature but also on dopant concentrations. The emf decreases with time but the decay constant is quite large. Key work ferro-elect&s.
