## Abstract Carbon/carbon composites (C/Cs) were prepared through polymer pyrolysis using PAN based carbon fabric (Panex^(R)^ 35) and resol type phenolic resin having 0, 10, 20, 30, and 40 wt% of graphite fillers. These precursor composites were heat treated at 600, 900, and 1200Β°C. The effects of
