โฆ Synopsis
PTCR thermistors, which have a lower room temperature resistance than nominal ones, are annealed under oxygen atmosphere (oxygen partial pressure l g PO 5 2 0.3357 | 2 0.4914) at 600, 800 or 900 8C for 2, 4 or 6 2 h, respectively. The electrical properties and aging characteristics of the thermistors are investigated. The relationship between capacitance per unit barrier layer and unit area (C) and resistance per unit barrier layer and 22 unit area (R), ln R~C , can be measured. The experimental results indicate that heat treatment under oxygen atmosphere can modify the room temperature resistance to a certain extent and improve the percentage of qualified products of thermistors while the electrical property requirements are met.
