Abstract

The concentrations of various nitrogen fractions were determined in lucerne cv Aragón. Variations in the total N, non protein N, nitrate and amino acids contents throughout the growing period of lucerne are described. The concentrations of different nitrogen fractions in the dry matter decreased as forage age advanced.
