We discuss the influence of the effect of droplet size on the surface tension y and develop a self-consistent method to derive a relation between +y and the droplet radius r. Referring our expression for y(r) to the surface of tension we recover Tolman's result.

## Ah&act-The influence of surface tension upon the dissolution and growth of a stationary, isolated gas bubble in a fluid is examined. It is demonstrated that for small gas undersaturation of the liquid, surface tension corrections for bubble dissolution are significant for nearly the entire peri
