β¦ Synopsis
Raman and IR studies of a single orthorhombic crystal and of polycrystalline trigonal RbIn(MoO 4 ) 2 were performed at ambient temperature. The observed vibrational modes were assigned to the respective motions of atoms in the unit cells. It was shown that the first-order D 3d 3 β D 2h 16 phase transition leads to very significant changes in the vibrational properties of the crystal studied.

Nd 2Γx R x CuO 4 compounds (R Y and Fe and x 0X0 and 0.05) are prepared by the conventional ceramic method. The majority of charge carriers is found to be positive for Nd 2 CuO 4 and negative for substituted compounds. The electrical resistivity decreased with Y-substitution and decreased further wi
