✦ Synopsis

The RPA dynamic susceptibility for the interacting electrons in a nearly magnetic metal is calculated, taking a finite lifetime for these electrons. By decreasing the lifetime, one observes a shift of the imaginary part of the dynamic susceptibility toward low frequencies. The physical consequences on the spin-fluctuation electrical resistivity are discussed.
