โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

Polyaniline was synthesized by using ammonium persulfate initiator in the presence of 1__M__ HCl. It was dried under different drying conditions like room temperature drying (for 48 h), oven drying (at 50โ€“60ยฐC for 8 h under a vacuum), and vacuum drying (at room temperature for 16 h). The conductivities of these samples were measured at microwave frequencies. These samples were also pelletized and the measurements were repeated. The cavity perturbation technique was used for the study. ยฉ 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 83: 2008โ€“2012, 2002

Polyaniline-emeraldine base (EB) fiber with excellent mechanical and electrical properties have been spun from highly concentrated (20% w/w), EB/N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP)/2-methylaziridine (2 MA) solution. These solutions had gelation times, which varied from hours to days depending on the mola
