Methyl methacrylate was polymerized in the presence of copper metal powder and different copper salts. The average molecular weights and the polydispersity of the polymers were determined, confirming the radical mcchanism previously proposed for the system.

Medium tlnd auf die Taktizitat der erhaltenen Polymere Methylmethacrylat wurde in Gegenwart von metallischem Kupfer und verschiedenen Kupfersalzen polymerisiert. Die rel. Molekulmassen und die Polydispersitat der erhaltencn Polymere wurden bestimmt. Der fruher fur diese Systeme vorgeschlagene radikalische Mechanismus konnte bestatigt werden.
