✦ Synopsis
This paper reports an experimental investigation of heat transfer to liquid nitrogen from samples of high temperature superconductor (HTSC) ceramics YBa2Cu30 x in the range of relative centrifugal accelerations from 1 to 1434. The effect of the porous, penetrable structure of the samples on thermal processes on their surface and inside them is shown. It has been established that in the porous samples an evaporation front arises, whose position depends on the centrifugal acceleration and on the heat flux density. For ceramics with lower porosity and higher thermal conductivity the heat transfer characteristics are similar to those for metallic samples.
